The WhatsApp icon is greyed out in my start menu and has an exclamation point next to it. I was able to uninstall it and then install it (I first did an sfc/ scannow) and it worked for a few hours. When it stopped working again, I tried the above again, but now it doesn’t work.

Every time I double click the whatsapp desktop shortcut, the cursor loads for a second, then nothing happens. Whatsapp does not launch. Right clicking and selecting run as administrator does not work either. I also do not see 'Advanced Options' below Whatsapp when I go to settings>apps and select whatsapp there.

Lo and behold, I can type in Whatsapp Desktop app again, after 31 reinstalls and 5 months! So perhaps this is not a Multi-monitor issue - but indeed a Multi- language issue. This is the only app I have seen since I was a kid learning to write that doesn't function because of different keyboard settings - that's kinda biased on Whatsapp, and not a Microsoft issue at all, IMHO.

WhatsApp Desktop and WhatsApp Web are synchronized with your mobile phone. It is strange that some chats are only on your WhatsApp Desktop. But you can try these two methods: 1. Disconnect your WhatsApp from your PC New > Restart your PC New > Back up your phone's chats. Go to Settings on your phone's app > Chats > Chat Backups > Backup.

1. Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the WhatsApp Desktop shortcut, go to Properties, and under the Compatibility tab, try running it in compatibility mode for Windows 10. This can sometimes help with compatibility issues. 2. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the WhatsApp Desktop shortcut and select"Run as Administrator."

For a couple of months, I noticed that my Whatsapp Microphone isn't working on my PC (Windows 11) and Yes, I worked out all available solutions from Forums and other mediums to resolve it. Uninstall the App. Repair and Reset the App. Enable microphone on Settings. Attaching the Screenshots of the errors. Seems like this is an internal issue.
